    description
Prevents impulse purchases with friction questions before checkout. Smart promo calendar, delay timers, FR/EN.
Should I Buy It? intercepts your checkout clicks and forces a short reflection before you buy.

When you click "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now", the extension opens an overlay with 5 friction questions tailored to the product category (tech, fashion, or general). You set a delay (2h, 24h, 72h...) — if you still want it after that, you can buy. Most of the time, you won't.

    KEY FEATURES
    • Friction overlay on any purchase button — works on Amazon, Best Buy, and any site you activate
    • 3 delay tiers based on price (configurable thresholds and durations)
    • Promo calendar — warns you if Black Friday, Prime Day or Summer Sales are coming up
    • Pending tracker — keeps a list of things you wanted to buy, with a countdown
    • Decision history — see what you resisted vs. what you bought
    • Button ignore — mark a button as "not a purchase button" to skip it in the future
    • Dark / Light mode (auto or manual)
    • FR / EN interface

    HOW IT WORKS
    1. You click a buy button on any e-commerce site
    2. An overlay appears with 5 questions and your custom delay
    3. You either wait (decision saved as "pending") or buy anyway
    4. Later, from the popup, you mark each pending item as "resisted" or "bought"
    5. The extension tracks your saves over time

All data stays local. Nothing is sent to any server.
