About

Save my Tabs captures every open window and tab into a named session you can restore in one click. Nothing leaves your machine — all data lives in chrome.storage.local as plain JSON. No cloud sync, no accounts, no telemetry, no remote APIs.

WHAT IT DOES
• 📥 One-click save — snapshot every open window and tab, with window groups, pinned tabs, and the active tab preserved.
• 📤 One-click restore — reopen a whole session, or pick a single window.
• ✏️ Inline rename — click a session name to rename it without leaving the list.
• ⏱️ Auto-save — runs in the background service worker on a schedule you choose (15 / 30 / 60 / 120 / 360 minutes, or off).
• 🗂 Rolling history — keep the last 3 / 5 / 10 / 20 / 50 sessions; older ones are dropped automatically.
• 💾 JSON export / import — portable backups that work across machines, with no vendor lock-in.
• 🔒 Close-before-restore — optionally close all current tabs before reopening a session.
• 🌍 Bilingual UI — English + Українська, switchable from Options.
• 🕶 Auto theme — follows your system light/dark preference.
• ⚡️ Lightweight — ~50 KB popup, no frameworks beyond React itself.

WHY OFFLINE
Session Buddy and similar tools moved to cloud sync and paid tiers. Snapshot MV3 stays tiny and local on purpose. Your browsing data never touches a server because the extension has zero host_permissions and zero network code paths.
