### How it works

1. Press `Ctrl+Shift+K` (or `Command+Shift+K` on Mac)
2. Start typing to search your bookmarks
3. Use arrow keys to move through results
4. Press `Enter` to open in the current tab
5. Press `Ctrl+Enter` to open in a new tab
6. Press `Escape` to close instantly

### Why these permissions are needed

LaunchMark requests only the permissions required for core functionality:

* **Bookmarks** — To read and search your saved bookmarks
* **activeTab** — To open the launcher on the current page
* **tabs** — To support tab-related actions such as opening results
* **scripting** — To inject the launcher interface when needed
* **`<all_urls>`** — To allow LaunchMark to work on regular webpages across sites

### Important limitation

Chrome does not allow extensions to run directly on certain internal or restricted pages such as:

* `chrome://`
* Chrome Extensions pages
* Chrome Web Store pages
* some browser-controlled pages

On those pages, LaunchMark falls back to the extension popup or popup window instead.
