Snow lets you transcribe audio from the current browser tab and download the transcript as a .txt file.

It is designed for lectures, online courses, webinars, tutorials, and other browser-based learning content.

How it works:
1. Open a browser tab that is playing spoken audio.
2. Click the Snow extension.
3. Start transcription.
4. Pause, resume, or stop when needed.
5. Download the transcript as a .txt file.
6. Clear the locally saved transcript when you are done.

Privacy and data handling:
Snow processes transcription locally in your browser. Audio and transcript content are not uploaded to our servers. The extension may download open-source model files needed for local transcription. Transcript text may be stored locally in your browser until you download or clear it.

Limitations:
- Accuracy depends on audio quality, speaker clarity, background noise, and device performance.
- The first run may take longer while the local speech model is loaded.
- Transcription is currently optimized for English audio.
- Some protected browser pages or restricted content may not allow tab audio capture.
