About

LionVPN for Chrome is the official browser companion for existing LionVPN users.

The extension lets you sign in to your LionVPN account, choose an available LionVPN line, and route Chrome browser traffic through the local LionVPN helper installed on your computer. It is designed for users who want a lightweight browser-level connection without changing the network settings for every app on the system.

What it does:
- Sign in with your existing LionVPN account
- Show available LionVPN lines and selected line status
- Connect or disconnect Chrome browser traffic with one click
- Apply Chrome proxy settings only while the user chooses to connect
- Display connection, proxy, and session status clearly
- Work with the local LionVPN native helper for the actual secure connection layer

Why install it:
LionVPN for Chrome gives LionVPN users a simple way to control browser traffic directly from Chrome. It is useful when you want Chrome to use LionVPN while keeping other apps on your computer unchanged. The extension is small, focused, and built only for LionVPN connection control.

Privacy and security:
The extension does not collect browsing history, webpage contents, search queries, cookies, screenshots, keystrokes, or payment information. It does not inject ads and does not add unrelated browser features.

Sensitive session credentials and connection configuration are handled by the installed LionVPN native helper and stored in the operating system credential store where supported. The Chrome extension stores only display-safe information such as generated device/install identifiers, selected line summary, and connection status.

Requirements:
- An existing LionVPN account
- The LionVPN desktop app or native helper installed on the computer
- Chrome browser with the LionVPN extension enabled

The extension does not sell subscriptions or process payments. Account and subscription management happen outside the extension.
