    description
Your competitors change pages quietly. Watchmelon taps you on the shoulder. 🍈

Pick the exact area you care about—pricing cards, landing-page hero copy, feature tables, policy sections, CTAs—and turn page changes into a clean brief you can actually use.

    👀 Watch the right block
Track one meaningful page area instead of the whole noisy page.

💸 Catch pricing and plan shifts
Spot changes to prices, packages, trials, plan names, or upgrade paths.

🎯 Notice CTA and positioning moves
See when a competitor changes their promise, CTA, feature language, or sales angle.

    📝 Generate a ready-to-send brief
Create a concise Markdown summary for weekly planning, sales reviews, founder updates, or agency reporting.

    🔒 Local-first by default
Your watchlist and captured text stay in Chrome local storage. No account, no signup, no heavy dashboard.

    How it works:
    1. Open a competitor page.
    2. Click Watchmelon.
    3. Pick an area or use the full page.
    4. Save it to your watchlist.
    5. Check for changes and generate a brief.

Watchmelon is small on purpose: no bloated analytics suite, no spreadsheet ritual, no endless manual checking. Just a tiny melon watching the market for you. 🍈

Pick one important block on a competitor page — a pricing card, hero CTA, plan table, feature row, policy section, or changelog — or choose the whole page when that is the better signal. Watchmelon checks the saved target on a schedule so future changes become a clear market brief.

    What you can watch:
    - Pricing cards and plan limits
    - Free trial, discount, or package changes
    - Hero copy and CTA shifts
    - Feature tables and comparison pages
    - Refund, shipping, terms, privacy, or SLA sections
    - Changelog and release pages

    How it works:
    1. Open a competitor page.
    2. Click Pick block and choose the exact area that matters, or use Whole page when you want the full page as the signal.
    3. Choose a frequency: daily, every 6 hours, or manual only.
    4. Click Start watching.
    5. Watchmelon checks saved public blocks/pages in the background; use Check now anytime.
    6. Build a copy-ready market brief.

    Why teams use it:
    - See the signal, not the whole noisy page.
    - Spot pricing, CTA, policy, and positioning moves without remembering to re-open every page.
    - Turn updates into a brief for planning, sales, founder updates, or client reports.
    - Keep it lightweight: no account, no analytics, no heavy dashboard.

    Automatic check notes:
Watchmelon is a browser extension, not a cloud monitoring server. Automatic checks run while Chrome is running. Public pages work best. For picked blocks, background checks compare the saved selector when it can be found in public HTML; pages that require login, block background fetches, change markup, or render content dynamically may need Check now while the page is open. Chrome notifications may appear when an automatic check detects new moves.

    Privacy:
Watchmelon stores your watchlist, selected text, snapshots, and briefs locally in Chrome storage. It does not require an account and does not send captured page text to an external server.

Pick one important block on a competitor page — a pricing card, hero CTA, plan table, feature row, policy section, or changelog — or choose the whole page when that is the better signal. Watchmelon checks the saved target on a schedule so future changes become a clear market brief.

What you can watch:

- Refund, shipping, terms, privacy, or SLA sections
- Changelog and release pages

How it works:
