you the most persuasive counterarguments to what you're reading — the
opposing view, argued at its strongest, not its weakest.

How it works
1. Click the Steelman icon while reading any article.
2. Steelman reads the page and asks AI for the 3 most persuasive
   counterarguments to its claims.
3. The counterarguments appear in a side panel, each with its reasoning.

Why Steelman is different
Most reading tools summarize — they compress what you already believe.
Steelman does the opposite: it expands your view by surfacing the strongest
opposing case, so you can form a more complete opinion.

Bring your own API key
Steelman uses your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Your key is stored only
on your device and is sent directly to the provider you choose — never to
any server we control. No subscription, no account, no data collection.
