Kenbun Tagger is a companion Chrome extension for the Kenbun lead scoring platform. It enables marketing operations and sales operations teams to tag high-intent user interactions on any website and import LinkedIn contacts — all without writing code or deploying changes.

  - Company Scraping: Extract company name, tagline, industry, size, location, and domain from LinkedIn company pages. Create or enrich Kenbun accounts and import company followers.
  - Search Results Import: Bulk-import contacts from LinkedIn People Search results. Select individual contacts or import all results at once with progress tracking.
  - Post Engagement Import: Import reactions and comments from LinkedIn posts to capture engaged audiences as leads.
  - Account Intelligence: View Kenbun account scores, surge status, and contact counts directly in the side panel while browsing LinkedIn.

Contact Lookup: Identify leads on any page via email detection or manual lookup. View and update lead attributes directly from the extension.

Side Panel Interface: The extension opens as a persistent side panel that stays visible while you navigate and tag. Navigate between Page Tracking, Site Tracking, Data Sources, Contact, and LinkedIn sections from one interface.

Testing Mode: Work offline without a backend connection to preview and validate tags before deploying them to production. Inspect the exact API payloads that would be sent to the server.

How It Works

The extension integrates with the Kenbun tracking beacon installed on your website. When you tag an element, the extension creates a CSS selector-based rule and attaches event listeners. When visitors click tagged elements or submit tagged forms, events are sent to the Kenbun backend via the beacon script for lead scoring and attribution.

On LinkedIn, the extension reads page content directly from the DOM to extract profile and company data. Imported contacts and accounts are sent to Kenbun via authenticated API calls using your Kenbun account credentials. No data is scraped or transmitted until you explicitly initiate an import action.

Requirements

The Kenbun tracking beacon must be installed on your target website for element tagging features. A Kenbun account is required for LinkedIn import features and recommended for production use. The extension requires Chrome version 114 or later for Side Panel API support. The extension can operate in testing mode for development and validation of tagging rules.

Privacy and Data

The extension only tracks elements you explicitly tag. It does not collect or transmit any data until you create a tag or initiate a LinkedIn import. All rules are scoped to your organization and stored securely. DOM scrapers enforce a 10KB data size limit and validate all captured data before transmission. LinkedIn data is extracted only from pages you actively browse and is sent exclusively to your Kenbun organization.
