About

Unfeed is an Instagram focus extension that helps reduce compulsive browsing while keeping useful Instagram workflows available.

It hides distracting Instagram surfaces such as the main feed, Reels, stories, Explore recommendations, suggested accounts, and notification badges. Search, direct messages, and profile pages remain usable so you can open Instagram for a specific purpose without getting pulled into endless recommendations.

The popup includes a master switch, Instagram-specific controls, optional intent prompt, and timed unlock buttons for short sessions when you intentionally want temporary access.
