FrameSnag is a ScreenMerch creator tool. It lets ScreenMerch creators capture thumbnails and video frames from their own YouTube videos for use in their creators ScreenMerch Favorites page.

Who it's for • ScreenMerch creators only – uses FrameSnag to capture frames from their own YouTube videos for their Favorites page . • Not for general use. Not for capturing or reusing other people's content.

Channel verification Capture and "Add to Favorites" only work when you're on a video from your own YouTube channel. The extension verifies this and blocks use on other channels' videos. Download button removed, frames restricted paste only to ScreenMerch Favorites page.

The intended use of FrameSnag is only for content you own from your channel or have permission to use. Is not used and blocked from capturing others' content.

How to use

Be an approved ScreenMerch creator and log in to a channel you own. Open a video you own,
Click the FrameSnag icon.
Choose "Grab Thumbnail" or "Grab Screenshot."
Use "Add to Favorites" to copy the image and open ScreenMerch Favorites.
FrameSnag is a free tool by ScreenMerch for ScreenMerch creators for their subscribers or fans to create merch.
