Removes the four pointed star watermark from Gemini and AI Studio images. The image never leaves your device.

What it does

PNG downloads are intercepted before the page paints them. The watermark is removed by reversing the alpha blend against an embedded 48 px or 96 px mask chosen by image size. The recovery is mathematically exact when the mask is aligned.

JPG and WebP are different. JPEG compression destroys the blended pixels, so reverse-alpha leaves a residual. For those formats the popup runs a 27 MB MIGAN inpainting model in your browser. The model uses WebGPU when available and falls back to WASM SIMD.

Where it works

Gemini at gemini.google.com and AI Studio at aistudio.google.com. Both work in auto mode for PNG. The popup also accepts files from any source.

Privacy

Image bytes never leave your device. The PNG path runs in the page world before bytes reach any page script. MIGAN runs locally with model weights bundled inside the extension.

The extension contacts our server only when you enter your Pro license email. The requests carry your email, a random device id, and the license token. No image data, page urls, or browsing history are transmitted.

Limitations

MIGAN inpainting for JPG and WebP can leave a visible patch on busy backgrounds. The recovery is exact for PNG but not for compressed formats. Requires Chrome 116 or newer.
