About

Typio Form Recovery Reboot automatically saves your form input as you type, so you never lose text to accidental page reloads, browser crashes, or navigation mistakes.

🔒 Your data stays on your computer
All saved data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage. Nothing is uploaded to any server, ever.

✨ Key Features
• Automatic saving — Typio silently saves text as you type in any input field, textarea, or contentEditable area
• Quick Restore — focus on any input to see a restore icon, or right-click to access recent entries
• Recovery Dialog — browse all saved data for any site with search and filtering (right-click → Open Form Recovery)
• Session recovery — restore an entire page's worth of form data at once with a keyboard shortcut
• Keyboard shortcuts — fully customizable shortcuts for quick access to recovery features
• Smart detection — works with standard inputs, textareas, contentEditable fields, and many rich text editors
• Site blacklist — disable Typio on specific sites with wildcard and regex support
• Configurable retention — choose how long your data is kept (up to one year)
• Save indicator — optional visual feedback showing when your text is being saved
• Support for iframes and Shadow DOM — works on complex modern websites

🔧 How It Works
1. Type in any form field on any website
2. Typio automatically saves your input locally
3. If you lose your text, right-click the field or use the toolbar icon to restore it
4. For full recovery options, open the Recovery Dialog from the right-click menu

📋 Permissions Explained
Typio needs access to web pages to detect and save form input. All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared. See the Privacy tab for full details.

This is a community-maintained fork of the original Typio Form Recovery by Nicklas Sandell, updated to Manifest V3 for continued compatibility with modern Chrome.
