Start recording in seconds. Choose your capture mode — full screen, camera only, or screen with camera overlay — and hit record. A 3-second countdown gives you time to prepare, and a floating toolbar lets you pause, resume, restart, or stop without leaving your workflow.

Smackdab Record requests camera and microphone access only when you choose to record with them. Screen capture requires your explicit selection of what to share. Developer logs are captured only during active recordings and are stored securely alongside your video. You control who can access every recording you make.
