Usage Tracker for Claude puts your Claude.ai limits everywhere you already work in Claude: on the toolbar icon, inside Claude's own sidebar, and right next to the chat box. Session, weekly, and per-model usage, one glance, no clicks, no extra tab.

Most usage trackers guess. They count tokens with a third-party tokenizer or scrape numbers off the page, then admit the parts they can't see. This one doesn't guess. It reads the same official usage data Claude's own web app uses, so the percentages you see are the percentages Claude is actually counting against your limits.

Three places to see your usage (all native to Claude):

• Toolbar icon. A live clay ring gauge that fills to your single most-urgent number and shifts colour as you get close: clay under 75%, amber 75-89%, red at 90% and over, and a solid red disc the moment you hit 100%. One look from any tab tells you where you stand, zero clicks.

• Inside Claude's sidebar. A clean "Usage" section injected into Claude's own left sidebar, with Session, Weekly, and per-model bars plus reset times. It inherits Claude's typography, so it blends into light and dark themes like it shipped with the app. When the sidebar narrows to its icon rail, it collapses neatly into a single ring gauge instead of disappearing.

• By the chat box. A small usage ring sits right by the model picker in the composer, mirroring Claude Code's own "Plan usage" control. Click it for a compact popover: your 5-hour limit, Weekly across all models, and your current model, each with a bar, a percentage, and an exact reset time.

Most trackers sit on top of Claude. This one belongs there.

Official numbers, not estimates:
This extension reads your usage from Claude.ai's own usage API, the same-origin endpoint Claude's web app itself calls, with the on-page view as a fallback. So your percentages match what Claude actually counts, instead of being approximated by counting tokens across files, prompts, and history. No API key to paste, no setup.

Focused, not cluttered:
No gamification, no karma levels, no peak-hours banner, no heatmap. One job - your real limits, always in view - done well.

Privacy first:
• Reads only your usage: Claude.ai's usage endpoint plus the organization list needed to address it. Nothing else.
• Never reads, stores, or transmits your chat, messages, prompts, memory, or account content.
• Local-first: your numbers and settings live in your browser via chrome.storage.local.
• Anonymous analytics: usage percentages are sent only as coarse buckets, never exact numbers. An optional early-access email, if you choose to give one, is kept out of the analytics event stream.
