About

Stuck In A Loop is a lightweight productivity extension that watches for signs you've fallen into a distraction loop. If you stop typing and start aimlessly switching between tabs, it steps in with a gentle nudge to get you back on track. We've designed it so you only get an alert when you need it, and if you need more control we have custom settings available to dial in what works best for you.

How it works:
The extension tracks how long it's been since you last typed anything. If that time crosses your configured threshold, a fullscreen overlay and notification appear asking you to refocus.

Features:
Configurable inactivity threshold (1 to 60 minutes)
Snooze alerts to get a few more minutes before being reminded again
Pause the timer automatically when watching YouTube videos
Set inactive periods so it won't bother you during work hours or on specific days of the week
Add ignored websites with per-site pause or reset behavior
Automatically pauses or resets when you switch away from Chrome to another app
Smart sleep and idle detection so you never get a false alert when opening your laptop
URL bar navigation and link click tracking options
Fullscreen overlay with dismiss and snooze buttons
Clean, minimal popup interface for all settings

Privacy focused:
All data stays on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking, no analytics. The extension only uses local storage to save your settings and timer state.

Perfect for anyone who catches themselves in a tab-switching spiral instead of doing the thing they sat down to do.
