  CHROMANGA brings black-and-white manga to life with AI-powered cinematic grade colorization, entirely on your device, with zero server calls. 
  
  How It Works:
  1. Navigate to any major supported manga reader
  2. Click the "Colorize" button in the extension on any manga 
  3. Watch as the AI transforms grayscale art into full color in seconds
  
  One Time Setup: This first initial run will generally take between 5 to 7 min because the CHROMANGA engine is auto calibrating. The engine is learning your hardware specs so it can deliver instant color for every chapter after that.

  ⚡WebGPU Acceleration 
  On supported browsers (Chrome 113+), Chromanga can leverage your GPU for significantly faster colorization. Falls back seamlessly to CPU-based WASM on older hardware.
  
  🧹 Built-In Denoising
  Noisy scans? Chromanga auto-detects noise and applies edge-preserving bilateral filtering before colorization for cleaner results. Choose between bilateral, median, or Gaussian methods.
  
  🎛️ Fine-Tune Your Results
  Adjust color saturation (0.5×–2.0×), post-colorization smoothing strength, denoising intensity, and processing quality all from the options page with real-time preview.
  
  💾 Smart Caching
  Colorized images are cached locally so revisiting a chapter loads results instantly. Configurable cache size (50–1,000 entries) with automatic LRU eviction.
  
  🌐 Support
  Works out of the box on popular manga readers, with sites supported by default.

  Click "Add This Site" in the popup to enable Chromanga on any manga reader not in the default list. The extension requests only the permissions it needs, when it needs them.
