About
Chrome Police helps you beat doom-scrolling with a commitment you can't wriggle out of. HOW IT WORKS • Add a distracting site (YouTube, Instagram, Reddit…) and lock yourself out for hours or days — your choice. • Open a locked site and you're met with a police siren, flashing red-and-blue lights, and a block screen. • The only way in early is to pay a small fine for a short, timed pass. Otherwise, wait out your lock. PRICING (real charges) • $1 → 3 minutes • $5 → 15 minutes • $10 → 30 minutes WHY IT WORKS Putting a real cost on the impulse — money and a blaring siren — is enough to make you stop and close the tab. It's a commitment device: easy to set, deliberately annoying to break. HONEST NOTE This is a self-control aid, not a tamper-proof blocker or a parental-control tool. A determined user can always uninstall an extension. It's designed to add friction to a moment of weakness, not to be unbreakable. Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments. See our Privacy Policy and Terms before installing.
