Job Autofill fills out job application forms for you. One profile, one Ctrl+Shift+F, every field on the page — name, contact, work history, education, EEO questions, file uploads, and the messy custom questions most forms throw in at the end.

WHAT IT DOES                                                                                                                                                               • Detects the application platform (Indeed, LinkedIn, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and more) when you land on a job-posting or apply page.
• A floating overlay appears. Click it, or press Ctrl+Shift+F (Cmd+Shift+F on Mac), to fill the whole form in seconds.
• Tracks which jobs you applied to: title, company, URL, status, notes — all in the built-in tracker at jobautofill.com.

A REAL PROFILE, NOT A GUESS
• Upload your resume once. We extract your name, contact info, education, and work history into structured fields you can review and edit.
• Add skills, languages, links, work authorization, and optional EEO responses. Everything is reused on every future application.

STAYS OUT OF YOUR WAY
• The overlay only appears on supported application pages.
• Autofill runs only when you ask it to — clicking the overlay, pressing the shortcut, or hitting "Fill" in the popup.
• No analytics on browsing. No keystroke capture. No ads.

PRIVACY FIRST
• We read the pages you visit only to detect whether they are job-application forms. Nothing is uploaded about other sites.
• Your resume and profile live in your account. You can delete both at any time from Settings.
• Authentication uses cookies + CSRF tokens — no passwords stored on your computer.

WHY CHROME ASKS FOR BROAD PERMISSIONS
• "Access your data on all websites" — required because job-application forms can live on any ATS domain (greenhouse.io, lever.co, myworkdayjobs.com, a company's own site, etc.). The extension only reads and fills forms when you trigger it.
• "Read cookies" — used to read the CSRF token cookie from jobautofill.com so API calls from the extension are authenticated. It does not read cookies from other sites.
• "Storage" and "Offscreen" — cache your profile locally so autofill is instant, and parse uploaded PDFs in an offscreen page.

1. Install the extension.
2. Sign up or sign in at jobautofill.com.
3. Upload your resume or fill in your profile.
4. Browse to a job application. Press Ctrl+Shift+F.
