Clip any article or YouTube video straight into your Thoute vault in one click. The readable text, the source link, and your own notes land on today's journal page — captured in the same place as the rest of your thinking, ready to tag, link, and revisit.
  
  WHAT IT DOES
  • Clip web pages — pulls the main article out of the clutter (no nav bars, ads, popups, or cookie
  banners) and saves it as clean, structured bullets, with the original URL and site name kept.
  • Clip YouTube videos — saves the title, channel, link, and thumbnail, so a video you want to watch or reference later is one search away.
  • Add a note — jot why a page matters in your own words before you clip. Your note travels with the clip.
  • Lands in your journal — every clip is added to today's daily note, so capturing never breaks your flow. Move it, tag it (#read-later, #research), or reference it from anything else like any other Thoute block.
  • Find it again — clips show up in your vault's Library, fully searchable alongside everything you've
  written.

  HOW IT WORKS
  1. Install the extension and pin it to your toolbar.
  2. Click the Thoute icon and sign in with your Thoute account.
  3. If your vault is end-to-end encrypted, enter your encryption password to unlock clipping.
  4. Open a page or video, click the icon, add an optional note, and hit "Clip to Journal." Done.

  Thoute is built privacy-first — your vault is end-to-end encrypted and your data is yours. Nothing leaves your browser until you click Clip, and clips are sent only over a secure connection to your own account and stored encrypted in your vault.
