The extension adds a custom control bar to Shorts videos so you can scrub through the video, seek forward or backward, control volume, mute or unmute, enter fullscreen, and manage looping behavior more easily.

It is built for users who want more control while watching Shorts without changing their YouTube account or opening any external website.

How to Use:

1. Install Shorts Toolkit for YouTube™.
2. Open a YouTube Shorts video.
3. The custom control bar appears near the bottom of the Shorts player.
4. Use the progress bar to scrub through the video.
5. Use the volume slider, mute button, fullscreen button, and playback controls as needed.
6. Click the extension icon to change quick settings.
7. Open the full settings page for more options.

Shorts Toolkit for YouTube™ runs locally in your browser. Based on the current extension files, it does not collect personal information, does not use analytics scripts, does not send browsing data to an external server, and does not make external API requests.

The extension stores only local settings such as control visibility, loop preference, overlay preference, and saved volume or mute state using Chrome storage.
