What it does

Home page: hides the feed and shows a clean dark screen with a reminder to use search
Watch page: hides the Related / Up Next sidebar and end-screen suggestions
Shorts: hides Shorts in navigation and blocks the Shorts feed
Search: hides most promoted placements (where detectable)
One-click toggle: Lock-In Mode ON/OFF

How to use

Install
Open YouTube
Click the extension icon → toggle Lock-In Mode

Privacy
No tracking, no analytics, no data sent anywhere. Stores only your enable/disable preference in Chrome storage (may sync across devices if Chrome Sync is enabled)

Permissions

Runs only on youtube.com to hide recommendation UI
Uses storage to remember your toggle
