Changelog
- May 1, 2026description
Zevr Guard — Network Visibility Zevr Guard blocks known malware and phishing domains using a daily-updated threat list, and shows every third-party tracker and company your browser contacts in a popup and live globe view. All matching runs locally in your browser; your URLs never leave your device. ━━━ WHAT YOU'LL SEE ━━━ 1. Popup with risk score and live tracker list Per-tab risk score, full third-party connection list, and one-tap block/allow controls. 2. Side panel with Live Globe See where your data is going on a world map, with per-company breakdowns and counts. 3. Auto-block screen for malware and phishing When you navigate to a known malicious domain, Zevr Guard intercepts the request and shows a clear warning before the page loads. 4. Settings panel Toggle Malware/Phishing, Advertising, and Tracking categories independently, plus add custom block/allow lists. 5. Per-page block history See exactly what was blocked on the current page, and which custom rules are active. ━━━ ABOUT THE SCREENSHOTS ━━━ All screenshots use seeded sample data so the popup, side panel, and warning UI can be illustrated clearly in a single image. The risk score and "Dangerous" status shown for zevrhq.com (our project's own site) are demonstration values; in production, every score is derived from the actual third-party connections observed on each page. zevrhq.com is not classified as malicious and is shown only as a placeholder host. ━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━ - Threat list: daily-refreshed feed sourced from URLhaus and curated lists - Tracker identification: 115,000+ signals merged from DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, Disconnect, Ghostery, AdGuard, EasyPrivacy, EasyList - Geo / ASN: GeoLite2 (offline, bundled) - Matching: 100% local, via Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API - No URL upload, no telemetry, no account required ━━━ PRIVACY ━━━ Zevr Guard does not send your browsing history anywhere. The only outbound request is to fetch threat-list updates from our CDN, and that request contains no information about you or the sites you visit. ━━━ OPEN SOURCE ━━━ Source code (GPL-3.0): https://github.com/<your-username>/zevr-guard
