About

Facsimile captures any web page (live URLs or local HTML files) and puts it on your clipboard as a real Figma design. Paste it into Figma and get editable frames with real text, images, and layout.

How it works:
  1. Visit any page in Chrome
  2. Click the Facsimile icon and hit "Capture this page"
  3. Paste into Figma (Cmd+V / Ctrl+V)

What you get:
  - Real Figma layers, not rasterized images
  - Text you can edit, images you can swap
  - Layout structure preserved as frames

Facsimile is free and open source under the MIT license. The only network request it makes is fetching Figma's open-source capture script — no analytics, no tracking, no cookies.
