ApplyPilot fills out job applications for you — using your resume, your AI provider key, and your browser. No accounts, no servers, no data uploaded anywhere we don't trust.

WHAT IT DOES
• Detects application forms automatically on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, LinkedIn Easy Apply, plus customer-hosted Greenhouse embeds (with the "Scan this page" button)
• Reads your resume (PDF or DOCX) on-device — name, email, phone, skills, experience, work history, links
• Fills direct matches instantly (name / email / phone / LinkedIn URL / GitHub URL / portfolio)
• Sends remaining fields to your chosen AI (Claude / GPT-4o / Gemini / DeepSeek) in a single batched call
• Types into React-controlled forms at a realistic pace (14–28 ms per character) — no detection footprint
• Uploads your resume file to <input type="file"> fields automatically
• Handles Select2 / react-select dropdowns (eso.com style customer embeds)
• Surfaces low-confidence answers in a side panel for review before you submit

THE LOCAL-FIRST PROMISE
• Your resume lives in your browser (IndexedDB + chrome.storage.local)
• Your API key encrypts with WebCrypto AES-GCM before storage
• Generated answers travel directly from your browser to your AI provider — never through our servers (we don't have any)
• No telemetry, no analytics on by default, no third-party tracking scripts

NEVER AUTOMATIC
• Never auto-submits a single application — you always click Submit
• Never auto-uploads to CAPTCHA-protected forms
• Never types into recaptcha / hcaptcha / honeypot fields
• Never invents experience, schools, or credentials

CAREER DETAILS
A one-time setup captures the answers you give over and over:
• Current + expected compensation
• Notice period + earliest start
• Work authorization + visa sponsorship countries
• Gender / race / veteran / disability status (EEOC; all optional)
• How you heard about us (default)
• Free-form context for the AI

These never leave your device unless your AI call needs them.

ANSWER MEMORY
Verified answers (the ones you click "Verify" on in the side panel) cache locally. The next "What's your notice period?" never hits the AI — it fills from memory at zero cost.

You provide the API key. We never proxy. You pay your provider directly — typically less than $0.01 per application.
