Too many open tabs? Slate Stack turns them into a simple, orderly reading queue you actually work through — instead of a browser window full of tabs you're afraid to close.
Save any tab in one click from the toolbar popup, a keyboard shortcut, or a right-click on the page or a link. Each one gets added to your queue in the order you saved it. When you're ready to read, click "Read next" to open the oldest (or newest, if you prefer) unread item — or open the full queue page any time to see everything you've saved, in order, with a relative timestamp for each ("added 3d ago").
A toolbar badge always shows how many tabs are currently waiting, so your reading list never quietly grows out of sight without you noticing.
How it works
Add a tab to your queue three ways: click "Add this tab to Slate Stack" in the popup, press a keyboard shortcut you set yourself, or right-click a page or a link and choose "Send to Slate Stack." Open your full list with another click or its own shortcut. From there, sort oldest-to-newest or newest-to-oldest, open items individually, remove them, or hit "Read next" to work straight through the queue one at a time.

Built for privacy
No account, no sign-in, no sync to any server. Your queue lives only in this browser, stored using Chrome's own local storage. Slate Stack only ever reads the tab you explicitly send it — it can't see your other open tabs, your browsing history, or anything you haven't directly acted on. There's no analytics and nothing tracked.
