Everything stays on your device. Clipify stores your history locally in your browser and never sends your data anywhere. No accounts, no servers, no tracking.

Clipify only saves text you copy yourself — when the user clicks the "Add current clipboard" button, to read the current clipboard text and add it to their history.`
- **`clipboardWrite`**: `Used to copy a saved item back to the clipboard when the user clicks it.`
- **Host permission `<all_urls>`**: `The content script runs on web pages to detect when the user copies text (a copy event) and save it to their local history. It does not read page content otherwise.`
