**Private by design**
ClearKit collects nothing. There is no sign-in, no server, and no analytics. Your history and settings stay in your browser's local storage and are never sold or transmitted. It asks for the minimum permissions — no host permissions, no access to your browsing beyond the local dashboard you open yourself.

**A note on sensitive data**
Saved passwords and form data are off by default and clearly marked — ClearKit will never wipe them unless you deliberately opt in. Scheduled rules leave them out too, so nothing disappears while you're filling in a form.
