Optional normal tab closing:
You can choose whether the original normal tab should close after opening the page privately.

Optional history cleanup:
You can choose whether the current URL should be removed from the local Chrome history after opening it privately. This only affects local browser history and does not make you fully anonymous on the internet.

Use an existing incognito window:
The extension can reuse an already open incognito window instead of always creating a new one. This keeps your browser cleaner and avoids too many separate windows.

Fullscreen option:
You can choose to open new private windows in fullscreen mode where supported by Chrome.

Important Information

Incognito mode is a privacy feature of Chrome, but it does not make you completely anonymous. Websites, your internet provider, your employer, your school or the network you are using may still be able to see activity depending on your situation. Inkognito-Modus Rahmi helps you open pages in Chrome’s incognito mode faster and manage local privacy options more comfortably, but it cannot change how the internet itself works.

Some functions require Chrome permissions because the extension needs to read the current tab URL, open windows, create context menu actions, store your settings locally and optionally remove URLs from your local browser history. These permissions are used only for the functions of the extension.

For incognito features, Chrome may require you to allow the extension in incognito mode manually. You can do this by opening Chrome extensions, selecting Inkognito-Modus Rahmi, opening Details and enabling “Allow in incognito”. This is a Chrome security rule and cannot be enabled automatically by the extension.
