When you ask ChatGPT a question, it doesn't just search once. It splits your prompt into multiple sub-queries, collects information from each one, then merges everything into a single response. This process is called query fan-out. It determines which brands, websites, and pages appear in AI-generated answers. Until now, this process was hidden. This extension changes that. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Open ChatGPT and ask any question 3. The extension captures the response in real time as ChatGPT generates it 4. Open the side panel to see the full breakdown No configuration needed. Just chat normally and the data appears automatically. WHAT YOU GET ► Real-Time Analysis: You'll see each sub-query the model ran and the metadata behind the response, including the model version, and whether carousels were triggered. For example: A single prompt about "best SEO tools" might generate 4 fan-out queries. A more complex question about market trends could trigger 12 or more. ► Citations Breakdown: Every URL referenced in the response is extracted with its title, domain, and description. Citations are categorized by type: sources, products, images, and news. This tells you which pages are actually getting picked up by AI, and which aren't. BUILT-IN TOOLS All tools are accessible from the extension's side panel, right alongside your ChatGPT window. ► Dashboard: All captured conversations in one place. Search by name, filter by type, and see aggregate stats across sessions: total conversations, fan-out count, and unique domains cited. Export any conversation as CSV. ► Batch Loader: Enter multiple prompts (one per line) and run them against ChatGPT automatically. Each response is captured and analyzed without manual work. Pause anytime and resume without losing progress. Useful for: ✓ Testing how different keyword variations perform in AI responses ✓ Checking if your brand or content shows up in citations ✓ Running competitive analysis across dozens of queries ✓ Auditing AI visibility at scale ► Brand Tracking: Add your brands and competitors (including name variations and aliases). Every response is automatically scanned for mentions. See how often each brand appears, read the exact context where it was referenced, and compare your visibility against competitors across conversations. ► Project Organization: Group conversations by project. Export data as JSON. Toggle auto-recording, auto-parsing, and auto-save from the Admin panel. WHO IT'S FOR • SEO professionals tracking which pages appear in AI answers • Content marketers checking AI citation visibility • Agencies running AI audits for clients • Product teams researching how AI responds to industry queries PRIVACY All data is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to external servers. Your conversations stay on your machine. Built by Backlinko, a Semrush Company.
