About
Single purpose description:
▎ Detects phone numbers on webpages and enables one-click calling through Fivra SMS.
---
activeTab:
▎ Required to communicate with the content script on the active tab when the user initiates a call from the extension
▎ popup or clicks a detected phone number. This enables the side panel dialer to open with the correct phone number
▎ pre-filled. No tab data is read or stored.
host_permissions ():
▎ The extension's content script must run on all websites to scan page text for phone numbers and add click-to-call
▎ buttons next to them. Phone numbers appear on any website — Google search results, CRM platforms, business
▎ directories, contact pages — so universal host access is required for the core detection feature to work. The
▎ extension does not read, collect, or transmit any page content. It only matches phone number patterns in visible
▎ text.
sidePanel:
▎ Used to open the Fivra Quick Dial panel inside the browser sidebar when a user clicks a detected phone number or
▎ dials from the popup. The side panel provides an integrated calling experience without opening separate windows or
▎ tabs. It loads the authenticated Fivra dialer interface so users can place calls directly from their browser.
storage:
▎ Stores three small user preferences locally: whether phone detection is enabled, whether tel: link interception is
▎ active, and the most recently dialed phone number for passing to the side panel. All data is stored locally using
▎ chrome.storage. No personal information, browsing history, or page content is collected or transmitted.
Remote code:
▎ The side panel contains an iframe that loads the Fivra dialer interface from https://new.fivrasms.com/dialer-popup.
▎ This remote page is required because it provides the authenticated calling functionality powered by the Twilio Voice
▎ SDK. The user must be logged into their Fivra account to place calls, and the authentication session cannot be
▎ replicated locally within the extension. No remote code is injected into any webpage the user visits. The remote
▎ content is sandboxed within the extension's side panel iframe only.
---
Data use certification:
▎ This extension does not collect, transmit, or sell user data. It does not use data for purposes unrelated to the
▎ extension's single purpose. It does not use data for creditworthiness or lending purposes. It does not use data for
▎ personalized advertising.Technical
