About

Orion is an agentic AI side panel that turns Chrome into a true workspace assistant. Open the panel with one click, ask Orion to read the active page, fill forms, navigate, click, summarize, classify Zendesk tickets, query JetMS, run security audits — anything you would do yourself, just driven by natural language.

WHAT MAKES ORION DIFFERENT
• Side panel + active tab. Orion never leaves the page you're working on. Every action is anchored to what you can see.
• MCP-native. Orion speaks the Model Context Protocol so any of your existing connectors (databases, APIs, internal tools) plug in via the side panel without writing glue code.
• Site bridges. Pre-built automation for Zendesk and JetMS with the same Tampermonkey-style "API key" pattern that field teams already trust. Add new sites via the open registry in the source code.
• Trusted clicks. Orion uses Chrome DevTools Protocol to dispatch isTrusted mouse and keyboard events, which means React-controlled inputs, password managers, and bot-detection layers treat the actions as human.
• Privacy first. JWT and bridge secrets stay in chrome.storage.local — never replicated to other devices. Sensitive sites (PayPal, banks, crypto exchanges, MetaMask, Ledger, Google account pages) are hard-blocked at the manifest level — no opt-in possible.

PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN ENGLISH
• "Read the page you're on" — only when you ask. No background scraping.
• "Click and type for you" — via DevTools Protocol so events are real, no synthetic-event detection.
• "Open and group tabs" — Orion creates a colored tab group ("⚡ Orion Chrome") so you always see which tabs are agent-managed.
• "Talk to your backend" — only the host you configure (default: orion.cloudconsultingmastery.com).
• Optional sites — granted one-by-one via Chrome's permission prompt. Orion never auto-grants.

POST-INSTALL
On first install Orion opens a welcome page that explains every permission, the hardcoded site exclusions, and how to find the privacy policy. Open the side panel from the toolbar icon (or Ctrl+E) to start.

OPEN SOURCE
Built on React 19, MV3 service workers, and the Model Context Protocol SDK. No bundled CDN scripts, no obfuscation, no remote code loading.
