About

ClipStack is a clipboard history manager for Chrome that keeps everything local. Copy anything on any page; press Cmd+Shift+V (or Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows / Linux) to search and paste it back. No account, no sync, no telemetry.

Features
— Captures every plain-text copy. 20 to 500 entries kept, your choice.
— Live search with substring and fuzzy matching.
— Pin clips you paste often; pinned entries never get evicted.
— Per-domain exclusions and wildcard patterns for sites you want ClipStack to skip entirely.
— Auto / light / dark theme with a warm cream + deep teal palette.
— Export and import your history as JSON for backup or migration.
— Full keyboard control. Arrow keys, Enter to copy, Delete to remove, / to search.

Privacy
Your clipboard is yours. ClipStack stores history only in Chrome's local per-profile storage. It makes zero network requests, uses no analytics, has no account system, and declares a single Chrome permission (storage). It refuses to capture copies from password fields, credit-card fields, one-time-code inputs, and any element marked sensitive — before the text is ever read from the copy event.

Keyboard
Default shortcut: Cmd+Shift+V on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+V elsewhere. Rebind at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

For whom
Developers and writers who move text around constantly and want a clipboard that behaves like the rest of their tools: local, fast, boring.

Changelog
1.0.0 — Initial release. Search, pin, exclusions, export / import, dark mode, full accessibility pass (roving tabindex ARIA listbox, WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, reduced-motion support), self-hosted fonts (IBM Plex Sans + Instrument Serif, OFL 1.1).
