SpeedRead lets you speed read any text on the web using RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation). Highlight text on any page, press Alt+S or right-click and choose "Speed Read Selection", and a focused reader window opens showing one word at a time. The optimal recognition point of each word is highlighted in red and locked to the center of the screen so your eyes never move — just like professional speed reading tools. Features: Adjustable speed from 100 to 1000 WPM with presets Adaptive timing — pauses on punctuation, speeds through short words Keyboard controls: Space (play/pause), arrow keys (skip/speed), R (reset) Scrubbable progress bar Works on any webpage No data collection, no tracking, fully offline
