Pinodock is a privacy-first new tab dashboard and keyboard launcher. It replaces your new tab page with a fast, local-first workspace for tabs, bookmarks, downloads, commands, tasks, notes, and everyday developer tools.

All your data stays on your device. No account required.

Keyboard launcher — Cmd+K Open from any page. Search bookmarks, downloads, open tabs, and browser history instantly. Type a domain to open it. Use > to filter open tabs, // to search history, = for the calculator.

Address bar launcher — type "pd" + Space Run browser commands directly from Chrome's address bar without opening a new tab. Search any engine with @g, @gh, @yt, @npm, @mdn. Manage tabs and sessions with /group-tabs, /close-tabs <pattern>, /save-session, /tabs list, /sessions list. Toggle dark mode with /dark-mode mocha. DuckDuckGo !bangs work too.

Productivity suite Todos, recurring habits with reminders, scratch pad, Pomodoro timer, ambient sounds, and reading list — all stored locally in your browser.

Clipboard history Every copy is saved locally. Search and paste back any recent copy with /clip.

Snippets and shortcuts Save reusable text snippets and custom URL aliases. Recall them instantly with /snip or your custom trigger.

Local usage tracker See which domains you spend time on. Stored only in your browser.

Optional AI (BYOK) Configure your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Perplexity, or Google Gemini. Route any command to a specific provider with @provider — /ask @claude explain this, /ai @perplexity latest news. Use /advice to ask your AI about the page you're on, or combine with a service (@github, @jira, @confluence, @gmail, @gcal) to pull live data from an open authenticated tab. Nothing is sent to Pinodock servers.

Optional plugins Enable read-only widgets that surface data from tabs you already have open: Spotify now-playing, Gmail unread count, GitHub notifications, Jira issue context, Confluence page context, Google Calendar, and more. Dashboard templates include a Reports Hub and Atlassian Hub for GitHub PRs, Jira boards, Confluence pages, local files, and monitor cards. Expand the plugin grid to full-page view with one click for a clear view of all your dashboards.
