Wikeo helps you capture the most valuable moments from YouTube videos without interrupting your flow. The Chrome extension works together with the Wikeo desktop app to bring highlighting, notes, and screenshots directly into your browser.

• Capture any moment in a video with tmestamped notes and/or screenshots.
• Highlight the important parts of a video.
• Access video transcripts as you watch and annotate. Transcript availability may vary by video..
• View transcript excerpts alongside your timestamped captures for additional context.

• View all your captures in a clean, document-like layout.
• Jump back to the exact moment in a video whenever you revisit your notes.
• Find what you need quickly with search and filters.

## How it works

1. Install the Wikeo desktop app.
2. Launch the desktop app.
3. Install this Chrome extension.
4. Open a supported video and start highlighting.

The extension communicates with the desktop app running on your computer to save and organize your highlights. What you watch, your notes, highlights, screenshots - all stay on your computer. None of these is sent to our servers.
