Single Purpose
Webflow Intellimize Inspector is a simple developer tool that lets Webflow site owners and developers quickly see which Webflow Optimize (formerly Intellimize) A/B tests, experiments, and variations are currently running on the page they are viewing.
With one click on the extension icon, it automatically detects your Customer ID, reads the active variations from the current page load, fetches your campaign details, and clearly highlights what is live right now.

How It Works (Read-Only)

1. Click the extension icon on any Webflow site.
2. It safely reads the Customer ID and running variation data already stored by Intellimize in your browser.
3. (Optional) Fetches your full campaign details from the official Intellimize API using your own Customer ID as authentication.
4. Everything is displayed locally — nothing is modified on the page.

Note: This is an unofficial developer tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Webflow or Intellimize. It is built for Webflow users who already have access to Webflow Optimize / Intellimize on their sites.


Permissions & Why They Are Needed

1. activeTab + scripting: Required to safely read page dataset and localStorage only on the tab where you click the extension icon. This follows Chrome’s recommended minimal-privilege approach.
2. https://api.intellimize.co/*: Needed solely to fetch your campaign, experiment, and variation details from the official Intellimize API. The API call uses only your own Customer ID and happens only when you click “Fetch Campaigns”.
