WhatIsMyIP.live — IP History & Alerts gives you a clear snapshot of your current internet connection, including:

- Public IPv4 or IPv6 address
- Country flag and approximate location
- ISP and ASN network information
- Proxy/VPN detection status
- IP reputation signals
- One-click address and IP Passport link copying
- A permanent link to the full IP Passport on whatismyip.live

PRIVATE IP CHANGE HISTORY

The extension records meaningful changes instead of saving duplicate checks. Compare your previous and current public IP and see when your IP version, ISP, ASN, country, city, Proxy/VPN/Tor signal or reputation changes.

By default, this history is stored only in Chrome on your own browser. You can clear it at any time.

OPTIONAL IP CHANGE ALERTS

Enable automatic checks every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes while Chrome is running. Browser notifications can alert you when an important IP or network value changes, useful after reconnecting your router, changing Wi-Fi, using a mobile hotspot or connecting and disconnecting a VPN.

OPTIONAL ACCOUNT AND EMAIL ALERTS

The core extension works without registration. If you want server-side history or email alerts, create a revocable Chrome device token in your verified WhatIsMyIP.live account and paste it into the extension.

The extension never asks for or stores your website password, email address or API key.

The Proxy/VPN result is supplied by the WhatIsMyIP.live Proxy/VPN Check service. The extension does not provide a VPN and does not hide or change your IP address.

AVAILABLE IN NINE LANGUAGES

English, European Portuguese, Spanish, French, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Standard Arabic, Hindi and Polish. Arabic includes a right-to-left interface.

Useful for checking “what is my IP,” monitoring a changing home IP address, confirming a VPN connection, noticing ISP or country changes, and keeping a private record of network changes.
