【Integration Guide: Seamlessly Connect Your Knowledge Base】

To ensure the best automated sync experience, please note the following when configuring Obsidian and Notion:

1. For Obsidian Users:

Required Plugin
OmniFlows communicates with Obsidian via API. You must install and enable the Local REST API community plugin in Obsidian.

Connection Setup
Make sure the API key you provide is correct, and that Obsidian is running.

Path Permissions
If you’ve customized the storage folder, ensure that the folder already exists within your vault.

2. For Notion Users:

Critical Step: Share the Page
After creating an Integration in the Notion developer dashboard, you must go to the target page or database in Notion, click “Add connections” in the top-right menu, and manually select your Integration. Without this authorization, the extension will not be able to write data.

Database Setup
It is recommended to use the “auto-create” feature provided by OmniFlows to generate a structured database that matches its standards (including tags, source links, media fields, etc.).
