About

Reverse-engineering a clean component layout using Chrome DevTools takes too many clicks. You have to inspect the element, open the "Computed" tab, scroll through a massive list of pixel values, and manually map them to Tailwind utilities or standard CSS rules in your head.

Tailflow streamlines this process. It is a lightweight hover inspector built to speed up your frontend workflow. Toggle it on with a hotkey, hover over any element on a live page, and press Ctrl/Cmd + Click to copy clean, production-ready code straight to your clipboard.

*Technical Features*
Hotkey-Driven Hover State: Press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + K to toggle the inspector loop instantly. Hovering over any DOM element maps out its exact bounding box and layout dimensions in real time.

Smart Subpixel Rounding: Web browsers frequently output fractional pixels (like 15.989px or 14.02px) due to high-DPI scaling, Retina displays, or relative rem/em units. Tailflow mathematically rounds these values to baseline units, generating clean classes like text-base instead of bloated arbitrary code like text-[15.989px].

Multi-Axis Spacing Compiling: Instead of dumping a long string of separate top, right, bottom, and left metrics, the engine aggregates padding and margin values. It automatically compiles asymmetrical layout spreads into proper shorthand pairs (like px-4 py-3).

Robust Clipboard Fallback: Standard clipboard APIs can occasionally get blocked by strict iframe permissions or secure sandbox properties. Tailflow uses an automated fallback element routine to ensure your copied styles make it to your clipboard every time.

*Supported Export Formats*
Switch your targets on the fly directly inside the extension popup menu:

Raw CSS (100% Free): Copies standard, formatted CSS declarations (display, width, height, margins, padding, border-radius, font properties). Designed for vanilla frontend debugging.

Tailwind CSS (Premium Upgrade): Converts live computed styles into clean, idiomatic Tailwind utility chains that you can drop directly into your component files.

No Subscriptions. One-Time Purchase.
You shouldn't have to rent a simple browser utility layout helper month after month.

The Core Inspector & Raw CSS Export: 100% free, forever.

The Tailwind Compiler Layer: Available for a flat, one-time $9.99 USD lifetime upgrade handled securely via ExtensionPay. You buy it once, you own it forever.

*Security & Performance Standards*
Built natively on Chrome's Manifest V3 extension architecture.

*Zero Cloud Tracking*: All style parsing and matrix conversions happen locally inside your browser's execution context. No data, browsing histories, or telemetry metrics are collected or shipped to external servers.

Extremely lightweight footprint with zero background thread resource drain or page performance overhead.

Stop wasting time translating styles by hand. Install Tailflow and build your component library faster.
