Beamo Search Helper makes Beamo Search easier to use from Chrome.

Set Beamo as your default search engine, open Beamo from the toolbar, search selected text from the right-click menu, and optionally use Beamo as your new tab search page.

  What it does:
  • Adds Beamo Search as a Chrome search provider
  • Lets you search beamosearch.com directly from the address bar
  • Opens Beamo Search from the extension toolbar button
  • Adds a “Search Beamo for…” right-click option for selected text
  • Includes an optional Beamo-powered new tab page
  • Sends searches to https://beamosearch.com/results?q=...

Beamo Search is built for fast web search with AI summaries, useful result pages, and a cleaner search experience. This extension is a lightweight helper: it does not replace the Beamo website, embed Beamo in an extension frame, or call Beamo APIs from the extension background.

Privacy:
The extension only uses the permissions needed to provide its search features: context menus, tabs, and local storage for extension preferences such as the new tab setting. Search queries are sent to beamosearch.com only when you perform a search with Beamo. The extension does not sell your data or add third-party ad tracking.

  Ways to search:
  • Type a query in Chrome’s address bar after setting Beamo as the default search engine
  • Click the Beamo toolbar button
  • Highlight text on any page, right-click, and choose “Search Beamo for…”
  • Enable the optional Beamo new tab page and start searches from each new tab
