How it works

1. Browse to a partner store. The Kick icon in your toolbar shows the cashback rate available.
2. Click the icon and tap Enable on this site — this is a one-time, per-site permission you control.
3. At checkout, Kick automatically tests your available coupon codes and applies the best one.
4. Your cashback is credited to your Kick account the moment the purchase is confirmed — no waiting, no pending period.

Your privacy, in your hands
- The extension does not run on any website until you click "Enable on this site" in the popup.
- We only read the hostname of the tab you are viewing — never page contents, passwords, or payment fields.
- Coupon fields are identified by label (e.g. "Enter promo code") — the extension never reads what you type.
- The extension aborts entirely on any checkout form that contains a password or credit-card field.
- We contact only kickpay.co — no third-party trackers, no ad networks, no data brokers.

Permissions explained
- Storage — saves your per-site on/off choices and a cached list of partner domains. All data stays in your browser.
- Active tab — reads the URL of the tab you are looking at so we can show the cashback rate for that store.
- Scripting — injects the cashback banner and coupon UI on partner pages you have enabled.
- Tabs — used to reload a tab after you grant per-site access, and to watch for the activation redirect completing.
- Alarms — schedules a daily refresh of the partner-domain list.
- Optional site access — the extension requests permission for each site individually when you click "Enable on this site". It never requests access to sites you haven't opted into.
