Vestyn is a self-hosted, zero-knowledge password manager built for people who want control over their password vault without giving up a polished autofill experience.

The Vestyn browser extension helps you use your encrypted vault directly from Chrome, Edge, and compatible Chromium browsers. Sign in to your own Vestyn server, search your vault, fill login forms, copy credentials, generate strong passwords, and save or update logins as you browse.

Privacy and security:
Vestyn is designed around zero-knowledge encryption. Your vault data is encrypted client-side before it reaches your server, and the server stores ciphertext rather than plaintext passwords. The browser extension uses your Vestyn account session to decrypt vault items locally when unlocked.

Vestyn is currently in alpha. The extension is intended for early testing with your own Vestyn server.
