When your team uses ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools, sensitive information can slip through — API keys, social security numbers, credentials, internal URLs, financial data, and more.
Blacksight.ai scans every message before it's sent to an AI service and enforces your organization's data loss prevention (DLP) policies in real time.
HOW IT WORKS
- Scans text in real time as you type or paste into AI chat interfaces
- 12+ built-in detectors for SSNs, credit cards, API keys, AWS credentials, JWTs, private keys, connection strings, and more
- Three enforcement actions: block (prevent sending), redact (mask sensitive data), or warn (alert but allow)

- All scanning happens locally in your browser — your text is never sent to Blacksight servers

SETUP
1. Install the extension
2. Click the Blacksight icon in your toolbar
3. Enter your organization's API token (provided by your admin at app.blacksight.ai)
4. Policies sync automatically — you're protected
PRIVACY
Blacksight.ai scans text locally in your browser. We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your AI conversations. Only scan metadata (which detector fired, what action was taken, which AI service) is reported to your organization's dashboard for compliance purposes.
