RummageDeep — AI4Context helps you find what matters on the page you’re reading without hunting line by line. Open the extension from the toolbar to get a floating, movable panel: search the visible text of the active tab, jump between matches, and—when the browser supports it—see hits highlighted on the page using the CSS Custom Highlight API for a fast, native-feeling experience.

Why use it

Deep search on the current page — Works on the page that is open when you click the icon (subject to normal browser restrictions on special URLs).
Floating panel — Resize and move the window so it stays out of your way while you read or compare text.
Built for long threads and dense pages — Great for chat-style pages, documentation, and long articles where Ctrl+F isn’t enough context.
Local-first — Your searches and UI preferences are handled in the browser; this extension is not designed to send page content to AI4Context servers for search. (Always check the Privacy Policy for full detail.)
English & Español — Interface language can be stored in sync storage so it follows you across signed-in Chrome profiles where sync is enabled.
How it works (simple)

Navigate to a normal webpage you want to search.
Click the RummageDeep icon to open the panel.
Type your query, use next/previous to move between matches, and read with highlights where supported.
Limits (honest)

Search is based on flattened text from the page DOM; shadow roots and iframes are not covered in this version.
Some restricted or privileged URLs cannot be scripted by extensions—those pages may not be searchable from the panel.
