About

TabZen reclaims memory from tabs you've stopped using, without losing your place. After a configurable idle period, tabs are swapped for a calm placeholder page that keeps the title, favicon, and last-active time, and restore instantly with one click.
What sets it apart from the usual "tab suspender":
• Per-domain and per-tab-group timers - set a 6-hour timer on Notion, never suspend GitHub, suspend the "Reading" group after 30 minutes, all from one rules list.
• Five match modes for whitelists, blacklists, and rules - domain, contains, exact, glob, regex.
• Idle tab triage in the popup - see every idle tab in your window sorted by how long it's been sitting, with one-tap suspend per row and a bulk action.
• Snooze a tab - suspend now, auto-restore in 1 hour, 4 hours, tomorrow morning, or next Monday.
• Suspend other tabs / other windows - clear everything except what you're focused on, in one click.
• Smart learning - frequently revisited sites get longer timers, rare ones get shorter, automatically.
• Time-of-day schedule - different timers for work hours vs off hours, with a day-of-week selector.
• Memory-pressure trigger - suspend more aggressively when system free RAM drops below your threshold.
• Sessions - save and restore named tab snapshots.
• Two suspension strategies - a calm replacement page (frees the most RAM), or Chrome's native discard API (keeps the tab in the strip).
• Six keyboard shortcuts for every common action, all rebindable.
Privacy: everything runs locally. No analytics, no remote configuration, no network requests. Settings, statistics, sessions, and the usage table all live in your browser's local storage.
