We've added an AI-powered text-to-speech engine (Supertonic-TTS) that runs directly in your browser using WebGPU. No external servers, no data sent anywhere—everything happens locally on your device.

- Natural, human-like English voice — powered by a real AI model, not robotic synthesis.
- Choose your speaker — switch between Female and Male voices.
- Fine-tune quality and speed — adjust inference steps (1–50) for the perfect balance between speed and quality.
- One-time model download — the AI model is cached in your browser after the first load.
- Automatic fallback — if AI TTS encounters any issue, it seamlessly falls back to Chrome's built-in TTS.
- Two engines, one toggle — easily switch between Chrome TTS (fast, multilingual) and AI TTS (natural English) from the popup.

How It Works

4. Adjust the reading speed to match your comfort level.
5. (Optional) Switch to AI TTS and click "Load Model" for natural English voice.
