AI Email Assistant is an AI-powered tool designed specifically for Gmail users, providing intelligent writing support directly within the email composition interface. The extension injects an AI toolbar at the top of the Gmail email composition dialog box, containing two core functions: ✏️ AI Rewrite—Optimizes your drafts into more professional, clear, and appropriate expressions; if you input key points or scattered notes, it will automatically expand them into a complete email. 💬 Smart Reply—Automatically generates an appropriate reply based on the received email content, inserting it directly at the beginning of the email body. The extension supports multiple API providers, including OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini), DeepSeek, Gemini, and custom compatible interfaces. You only need to configure the API Key in the pop-up window to start using it. All API requests are sent through a background service, without passing through third-party servers. Developed based on Manifest V3, it has streamlined permissions, only requesting local storage to save API configurations and does not collect any user data.
