Coherix (“the Extension”) is a browser extension that provides a structural coherence analysis of AI-generated conversations using the **CMCI (Coherent Multiscale Cognitive Integration)** framework.

This Privacy Policy explains:

* what the Extension processes,
* what it does not collect,
* how your data is handled,
* and your rights as a user.

## 2. How Your Text Is Handled

**Local processing first**
Text preparation occurs locally in your browser.

**Selective transmission only**
To compute coherence scores, the Extension may securely transmit **only the specific AI response or text segment you explicitly select**.
Unrelated content (other tabs, page elements, or browsing activity) is never transmitted.

**Secure communication**
All data sent to the Coherix API is encrypted using HTTPS.

**No permanent storage**
Submitted text is processed in real time and **not stored permanently** on our servers.

**Optional history (opt-in only)**
Server-side analysis history exists only for authenticated users who explicitly opt in, and can be deleted at any time.

**No model training**
Your data is **never used to train models** or for any secondary purpose.

The Extension stores the following locally using Chrome’s `chrome.storage` API:

* Recent coherence scores and regime labels (short rolling history)

Submitted text is used **only** to compute structural coherence signals:

* Coherence score (0–1)
* System regime (Stable, Adaptive, Fragmented, Critical)

* tracking

Coherix monitors the structural coherence of AI conversations in real time using the CMCI (Coherent Multiscale Cognitive Integration) framework.
When you chat with AI assistants, Coherix analyzes every response across four scales — micro, meso, macro, and transversal — and gives you a live coherence score.

WHAT IT DOES:
Drift Detection: Identifies when an AI response starts losing structural coherence before it becomes obvious.
Coherence Scoring: Assigns a real-time score (0 to 1) and regime classification (Stable, Adaptive, or Critical).
Context Repair: Suggests or injects repair prompts to restore coherence when drift is detected.

Memory Anchoring: Helps maintain context across long conversations by injecting structured memory cues.

WHY IT MATTERS:
AI models sound fluent even when their reasoning breaks down. Sentence-level fluency can mask weak logical flow and structural incompleteness. Coherix detects this gap — it scores architecture, not surface polish.

HOW IT WORKS:
The extension reads AI-generated text on supported platforms and computes coherence metrics using the CMCI engine. Scores are displayed in a non-intrusive sidebar overlay. No data is stored permanently. No tracking. No ads.
