About
Do you find some websites force a window to appear and won't let you actually see anything - often its an advert that half the time you aren't interested in anyway. So I created the Ban Hammer - bring it down on things you don't like (which you can actually get rid of manually of course but who wants to do that!). When you are on a website that has something you need to get rid of - ABH will then show you a list of all the things it can see on the page that it thinks might be getting in your way. You can select these items and it will remove them and then continue to track the page to see if they come back. This way, every time you visit the website, it will automatically get rid of these bits for you. It's designed to track the whole site - not just a specific page on it. You can remove websites from it anytime, tell it specifically NOT to work on any websites you choose and it's designed to not bother you unless you need to be told. You keep control, you decide if it should work, it takes it's lead from you and leaves it to you to tell it to watch a website or not. No information about anything you do is sent anywhere or viewed by anyone - it's nobody's business, including mine. Totally free and tell whoever you like about it - leave me a like/feedback etc. as it helps me make it better. Note: Remember to reload the page after you've started to "track" a website. --------------------- UPDATE LOG --------------------- Version 2.4 - Removed the paragraph navigator as not really sure it's relevant - previous version was blocking some clicks and scrolling but 2.4 fixes this. ABH now actively ignores any site you visit unless it's being "watched" by you. Version 2.3 - changed everything to function around "lists" rather than have you select things on the page as this was proving to be problematic and wasn't working very well. The new version is I think a lot more streamlined and works far better. Plus it does a nice little notification/animation now when it waves it's magic wand (hammer - same thing).
