Nodus Vault Autofill is the browser companion for the Nodus Vault password manager. Your passwords are encrypted and stored locally on your device — they never leave it.

Fill credentials instantly on any login page with a single click. Works with all modern websites including React, Vue, and Angular apps.

Your credentials stay on your device. No cloud sync, no servers, no breach risk. The extension communicates only with your local Nodus Vault desktop app.

Instant autofill
Click the vault icon inside any username field. Credentials are matched by domain — exact, subdomain, and eTLD+1. Works with multi-step login flows (Google, Microsoft, and others).

Save credentials
Capture new credentials when you log in or register. Queues them automatically if the desktop app is closed — syncs on next unlock, no action needed.

PERMISSIONS
• nativeMessaging — communicate with your local Nodus Vault desktop app (required for all autofill)
• storage — cache connection status and queue credentials locally
• notifications — notify when queued credentials are synced
• alarms — retry queued credentials periodically
• <all_urls> — detect login forms on any website you visit
